Central Area - Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Rev. Terry Rothermich entered seminary in July 1990 and was ordained into the
ministry in July 1993. He has served in parish ministry in Texas and Missouri.
This ministry includes as a Disciples national staff person within the ministries
department of the denomination's publishing house (Christian Board of
Publication), writing and editing curriculum, Bible studies, women's study
materials, and devotionals. He has presented regional and national workshops
and seminars, authored several writings, and performed two piano recordings.
He has also served on the Education and Mission Committee of the National
Council of Churches of Christ in the U.S.A.
Within the Central Area of the Christian Church in the Southwest (which includes Midland), Rothermich is Chairperson of the Covenant Youth Committee and sits on the Area Council. He began his ministry at Memorial Christian Church in May 2002, having been called then by the congregation as Associate Minister. In April of 2005 he was called by the congregation as its Pastor. Rev. Rothermich holds four degrees, including the Master of Divinity Degree (Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University) and the Master of Music Degree (Southern Illinois University). He was a Fulbright Scholar to Europe, where he lived and studied for over six years. Among his credentials are inauguration into the International Platform Association and a venerated sponsorship by the United States Department of State. |
